Riker’s Island Correctional Facility

12,000 to 17,000 inmates are housed at all times at Riker’s Island. The professionals at New York Fire knew that there was no way to install their intricate system without the prison functioning at full capacity. This was one of NY Fire’s biggest challenges and it was a job well done. When all was said and done, the NYC Fire Department approved the system and we maintain it today.
